Ryan is committed to a sober lifestyle. His battle with addiction and depression culminated in a situation that gave him a second chance at life. This time, he started living with purpose. Ryan received a certificate/degree and licensing in alcohol and drug abuse counseling from UCLA. As credentialed substance abuse counselor. He then began leading group therapy and individual sessions at prominent rehabilitation centers in Malibu, California. In addition to founding A tHome Recovery, Ryan spends his time doing what he loves – music and fashion. He co-owns record label, a recording studio alongside a Grammy-nominated music producer. Ryan also collects vintage T-shirts and designs clothing and accessories worn by A-list clientele under his brand, Szechuan Market. His sober lifestyle enhanced the success of his creative pursuits.

Tachi, Companion
David T Shudo Jr., fondly known as Tachi, is a compassionate professional based in Agoura Hills, CA, originally from Camarillo, CA. He has five years of recovery experience and earned a CCAPP Certification. Inspired by his personal journey of recovery, Tachi’s mission is to assist others in overcoming their challenges. He felt at his physical peak once he ditched drinking and drugs, so he studied and trained to become an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. Having worked in various mental and behavioral health facilities and as a dedicated one-on-one companion and mentor, he has helped clients cope with diverse issues. Tachi strives to incorporate fitness and wellness into the healing process because he, too, understands the importance of staying active. He enjoys sports, music, and activities that engage the mind and body. Tachi brings a calming presence and a remarkable ability to set healthy boundaries while fostering trust and connections with clients of all ages and backgrounds. His commitment to empowering others to lead fulfilling lives shines through his holistic and dedicated approach.
Alicia, Companion
Alicia Dolese is an experienced Sober Companion currently residing in Wilmington, NC. Alicia's professional experience in the recovery field has been multifaceted - she has held
arious hands-on roles, including working in a recovery home, assisting in a women's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and primarily serving as a dedicated sobercompanion since 2021. In her role as a sober companion, Alicia has navigated the complexities of international transport, skillfully managed medication regimens, and offered a steady hand during times of crisis for clients with varying mental health diagnoses. Her expertise extends beyond traditional support, as she stands at the
intersection of compassion, crisis resolution, and holistic well-being. Her diverse experiences have not only enriched her understanding of recovery but have allowed her to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those she has supported. Alicia's journey began at a young age when she turned to heroin as a means of escape from the weight of her own mental health issues. Through therapy, self-reflection, and the embrace of recovery communities, she gradually reclaimed control over her life.
Alicia’s unique struggles allow her to share her experience meaningfully with others seeking inspiration, care and support while navigating similar paths. Alicia is an experienced member of Alcoholics Anonymous and has earned respect within the broader recovery community by allowing her story to show that transformation is attainable, no matter how insurmountable the odds may seem. She finds joy in a purpose driven life and offers wisdom, encouragement, and hope to individuals battling addiction and looking to reclaim their lives.
In addition to her commitment to recovery, Alicia pursued a higher education degree and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Her academic accomplishments reflect her belief that recovery opens doors to endless opportunities. In alignment with her career as a sober companion, Alicia recently completed the 270 educational hours required to obtain her certification to become a Certified
Alcohol and Drug Counselor. As Alicia approaches her 10th year of continuous sobriety, she has remained determined in her efforts to inspire resilience and determination in those whose lives she has the opportunity to touch. She allows her journey, from adversity to academic excellence and a thriving career in the recovery field, to serve as a testament to the boundless potential for growth and transformation.
